Get Involved

Easy first steps you can take this month

You don’t have to commit to a board to make a difference. Here are simple, low-commitment ways to take part — each one links straight to what you need.

Attend a city council meeting

Want to know what’s going on in the city, or who your representatives are? City council meetings always have something interesting plus public comment — the fastest way to stay in the loop. They meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 6 PM.

Attend a city play

Bluffdale plays are a fun way to get involved — all kinds of plays and musicals throughout the year. SpongeBob the Musical was recently a hit, and Pride and Prejudice is next. Buy a ticket to watch, or audition to join the cast.

The Bluffdale podcast is only about 30 minutes — perfect for the drive or background listening. It recaps the month, shares the mayor’s perspective, and features great guest speakers. This month’s and last month’s episodes are online.

For America’s 250th birthday, Bluffdale is holding events all year. Fill out a bingo card and bring it to City Hall for a prize, try Ben Franklin’s fly-a-kite day, and look for the celebration woven into nearly every city event.
