Organizations
Bluffdale has tons of organizations to get involved with, and many of them love having youth on board. Read up on a few and join one that sounds interesting — the only way to live in a city you love is to help make it.
This is the group all about getting youth involved. Members plan events, run service projects, help out across the city, and learn how local government works. They’ve taken part in Old West Days, Santa and the Lights, and a Day of Legislation at the capitol meeting their representatives.

Their mission is a healthier Bluffdale where everyone has a place, promoting wellness through evidence-based programs for youth, parents, and the whole community. They host Screenagers screenings, mental health resource nights, and more — and they love having youth on the board for the young-citizen perspective. A board meeting follows at 7:30 PM.

All things art — plays, art shows, and the chalk walk at Old West Days. They recently put on the SpongeBob musical and are holding auditions for Pride and Prejudice, plus family art shows and an April kite-making class. There’s no fixed monthly schedule, so check the city website for dates. If you like art, this is your place.

Love gardening, planting, and meeting people who feel the same? This board is always excited for newcomers. They hold season meetings, a composting day, share planting tips, and throw a harvest celebration day. Be sure to read the newcomer policies and requirements so you’re up to date.

If you love history and the monuments and remnants that tell it, this group is for you. They celebrate and commemorate Bluffdale’s rich past and work to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. They meet quarterly, so check the city website for the exact dates.
